Rental Terms
1. Rental and Payment
The scooter is rented out for the period stated in the agreement. Payment must be made before or upon delivery of the scooter.
2. Use
The customer is responsible for using the scooter in a safe and responsible manner and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The scooter may only be used by the person named in the rental agreement and may not be lent out or re-rented to anyone else without the rental company's approval.
The customer must comply with applicable traffic rules and local regulations.
3. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for the scooter throughout the rental period and must take reasonable steps to protect it from theft, vandalism, and unnecessary damage.
The customer is responsible for any costs arising from damage, loss, or theft caused by negligence, misuse, or breach of these terms.
Normal wear and tear will not be charged to the customer.
4. Accident or Fault
In the event of an accident, damage, theft, or technical fault, the customer must contact the rental company as soon as possible.
The customer may not arrange repairs to the scooter without the rental company's approval, unless immediate action is necessary to prevent further damage.
5. Return
The scooter must be returned at the agreed time and place.
Late returns may incur an additional rental charge according to the rental company's current price list.
The scooter must be returned with all accessories that were included at the start of the rental.
6. Prohibited Use
The scooter may not be used:
- by anyone other than the agreed driver
- under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that affects the ability to drive
- in a manner that poses a danger to the driver or others
- for racing or other abnormal use
- outside the area approved by the rental company, if such restrictions have been communicated
7. Liability
The customer is responsible for their own safety and for any damage the customer causes to other people or property through negligent or improper use of the scooter.
The rental company is responsible for ensuring the scooter is in working and roadworthy condition at the time of delivery, subject to faults that arise during the rental period.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Acceptance
By accepting the agreement, the customer confirms that these terms have been read and accepted, and that the customer has received information on how to use the scooter safely.
